Students
In order for our children to learn English effectively, they should be exposed to everyday English phrases and high frequency words. The Budding Bean Immersion English does precisely that from the first lesson. Most of the other English programmes for children learning English focus on acquiring new words and vocabulary, which may not work well for Asian children with zero or minimal English.
Children require an English environment for them to learn English naturally. Currently, existing English programmes offered in schools and learning centres cannot or do not create the kind of environment nor the opportunity for the children to speak and practise what they have learnt.
Existing English programmes do not work for our children because of several reasons. Among others, they focus on vocabulary and not language expressions, many are teaching phonics to zero and very minimal English speaking children*. Some teachers are struggling with the use of correct English grammar and language expressions and may not have received effective training to teach English to children.

Currently, in countries where English is spoken as a second language, there are limited avenues for the children to be able to get enough English exposure and English-speaking environment for them to use the language that they have learnt. It also does not help that some teachers are not fluent and are not equipped to teach the English language.
Many who are using the existing English programmes generally focus on the material taken from publishers but are not focused on creating an English environment for their children. The lessons are usually not interesting and teachers have difficulty delivering their lessons and engaging with the students in a positive manner.

English phonics comes with many complicated rules. There are easily 160 rules and exceptions. This makes it extremely difficult even for a teacher with a good command of the language to be able to pronounce well and teach effectively.

With a plethora of different sounds and sound combinations, it is extremely difficult for a student, let alone a child with zero or minimal English to pronounce all the sounds correctly and accurately. Moreover, children especially those below seven years old are not ready to learn phonics rules that require analytical skills. On the other hand, some children may be able to produce the sounds fairly accurately but they will not be able to understand the concept nor the words. Budding Bean Immersion Phonics has developed an innovative teaching technique that overcomes this problem.
Existing English phonics programmes are difficult and tedious to teach. Children find it difficult to understand because it is complicated and there is no “fun” factor. Budding Bean Immersion Phonics programme is a 3 Step Series designed for students from the ages of 4 to 12 years old. Each phonics sound has one song, one reading text and many activities and chants to help students master Phonics easily and confidently. Your child will be able to listen with understanding, speak and even start to read in English by 48 lesson hours. Given one year’s time, your child will be able to communicate in grammatically correct English, speaks fluently and pronounce the words clearly and accurately.

Teachers who are qualified and have attended the Budding Bean Teacher’s Training are eligible to teach the Budding Bean Immersion English programme.
Schools and learning centres which have the appropriate operating licence and have signed the licence agreement with Budding Bean are allowed to use our programme. We sell results. No royalty fee charged.
